How we handle it
E-waste, done right
Radiowell is not an e-waste recycler — we are a specialty provider of asset disposition services for radio equipment. We’ve partnered with one of America’s largest electronic waste recycling firms to handle anything that cannot be repurposed, so your retired radios meet the R2v3 designation and every state and federal compliance requirement.
Portable Radios
Non-functional handhelds across DMR, P25, NXDN, and analog formats.
Mobile Radios
Vehicle-mounted radios that have reached end of life.
Base Stations & Repeaters
Fixed infrastructure, including older cabinets and controllers.
Batteries & Accessories
Batteries, chargers, antennas, and the small parts that pile up.
Common questions
About our e-waste workflow
Is Radiowell itself an e-waste recycler?
No. We are a specialty disposition provider. Our R2v3-certified partners handle the recycling stream once equipment exits our warehouses.
What happens to batteries?
Batteries are separated, handled per state and federal regulation, and routed to certified battery recyclers.
How do you document it?
Every asset is logged at the serial level and you receive a certificate of disposition for the inventory.
Is there a charge?
For qualifying inventory volumes, no. Submit an offer request and we’ll come back with the specifics for your fleet.
