Before you dispose
Do you erase programming and encryption keys?
Yes. Every radio we acquire is wiped of customer programming and encryption keys before it ever leaves our facility, and the action is logged at the serial level.
Will I receive a certificate of disposition?
Yes. We provide a serial-level certificate covering every asset, suitable for ESG, audit, and internal records retention.
What happens to equipment that cannot be repurposed?
It is routed to an R2v3-certified e-waste partner with full chain-of-custody documentation. Nothing is sent to landfill.
Are you an electronic waste recycler?
No. Radiowell is not an e-waste recycler — we are a specialty disposition provider that prepares assets for e-waste or repurposing. Our e-waste recycling partners are R2v3 certified and include industry leaders like Waste Management.
What do you with the equipment you receive?
The vast majority is stripped for parts and used to repair out-of-warranty radio equipment.
