Things to know
Radios 4 Kids is funded by Radiowell’s commercial radio business. Donations are subject to inventory and we cannot guarantee matches or timelines.
- Equipment availability is limited to our current inventory and other factors.
- We have no estimated timeframes on when (or if) we will receive matching equipment.
- We can only fulfill a small portion of the requests we receive.
- Phone support for the grant program is limited — please apply via the form.
- Public K-12 institutions only — accreditation required.
- We do not provide FCC licensing. Certain radios require an FCC license to operate.
Why we created this
As America’s leader in used radio equipment, we have a responsibility
Two-way radio communication is critical to student safety, yet many schools lack sufficient radio equipment. The Radiowell Radios 4 Kids program provides K-12 schools with used but functional radio equipment at no cost — including shipping.
Eligibility
Your organization must be a public K-12 institution accredited by your state’s education regulator.

Complete the Radiowell GRANT request form and your information will be recorded in our grant database.
How matches work
When we have inventory that fits your need, we’ll reach out. Donations are based on availability.
